- Abstract
The article focuses on new hospital medical libraries established in Micronesia. The Commonwealth Health Center Medical Library in Saipan has been opened on December 1, 2009. It mentions that several new libraries have been built with the help of the grants provided by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) intended for nine new or rebuilt hospital medical libraries in U.S.-affiliated Pacific Islands. The LBJ Tropical Medical Center Medical in Pago Pago, American Samoa is cited as the second library that benefited from the second RWJF grant.
