- Title
Agreement Between Bricklayers' and Plasterers' International Unions.
- Abstract
The article reports that the Bricklayers, Masons and Plasterers' International Union of America and the Operative Plasterers and Cement Finishers' International Association signed an agreement on October 2, 1925. The agreement ends a two-year jurisdictional dispute that started when the bricklayers abrogated two agreements governing artificial stone and the plastering of walls to receive tile, which were established in 1911. Under the new agreement, both parties will end the hostilities and return to work. The agreement of 1911 will be reestablished until such time when both unions, under the supervision of the American Federation of Labor, makes a final decision on the concerns of the bricklayers.
