- Abstract
The aim of this study is to determine the effect of job stress on organisational commitment and its subdimensions. This descriptive study was conducted on employees working in health organisations in 2022. In the research, convenience sampling method was adopted and a questionnaire was applied to 140 employees who agreed to participate in the research. The analysis of the data collected through the questionnaire was carried out through SPSS 22.00 package programme. According to the findings of the study, it was determined that there are negative and significant relationships between job stress and organisational commitment, affective commitment and normative commitment. According to the findings of the research, job stress has a positive effect on both organisational commitment and affective and normative commitment. However, it was observed that job stress had a positive and insignificant effect on continuance commitment. In this research, which has similar findings with many studies in the literature, suggestions were made about what should be done in the future.
