- Abstract
The article describes the preparation, changes in routine practices, and risk-mitigation strategies adopted by the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences in India during the COVID-19 pandemic. Topics covered include the high-risk area for COVID-19 incidence and spread represented by the hospital's psychiatric units, and the preparedness and contingency plans it has developed that adhered to the government's standard protocol.
