- Title
Damage-induced reactivation of cohesin in postreplicative DNA repair.
- Authors
Ball, Alexander R.; Yokomori, Kyoko
- Abstract
The article presents a study that shows the significant function of specific histone modifications and chromatin remodeling complexes in double-strand break (DSB) DNA response and repair. It indicates the importance of chromatin structural organization at the damage site. It also describes the regulatory mechanism involving the cohesion cofactor Eco1 and the chromosome organization complex cohesion.
