- Abstract
Osteogenesis imperfecta is the most common connective tissue disorder that causes osteoporosis and it is characterized by distransformation of fetal collagen to mature collagen. Anatomic deformities and platelet dysfunction influence the choice of anesthetic technique. Besides the attention to the airway related problems, succinylcholine, inhalation agents, and anticholinergic agents that could trigger malignant hyperthermia should be avoided. In this case report, it was aimed to discuss the anesthetic management in an osteogenesis imperfecta patient who had operated for femur fracture.
