- Abstract
A case study of 5-week-old infant with respiratory distress, is presented. Topics include uncomplicated perinatal history presented to a regional emergency room with respiratory distress and feeding refusal; and diagnosis of a tension pneumothorax (TP) was made and a pleural tap with an 18g intravenous catheter was performed.
