- Abstract
The article discusses a study which examined three isolates of Metarhizium anisopliae, including their growth, enzyme activity and virulence. The study obtained different compositions of the isolates on the basis of chitin, carbon and nitrogen contents. It measured colony growth, spore yield, germination rate, spore bound Pr1, lipase activity and virulence of inoculum to investigate the effect of nutrition on growth and virulence. The results showed the production of the highest colony growth by chitin peptone nutrition media.
