- Abstract
The article discusses the importance of percussion and auscultation skills among cardiac nurses in respiratory assessment. It considers percussion as respiratory assessment's key component that should be applied in connection with auscultation in assisting differential diagnosis. It states that auscultation helps in early identification of diseases. It also mentions the importance of early identification of dysfunction in the respiratory system in patient care improvement and positive outcomes.
