- Abstract
The article focuses on an appeal made by the editors of the laboratory medicine periodicals to their colleagues in the organization International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) for the purpose of enforcement and adoption of several clinical studies' requirements. These include the indication of types of specimens analyzed with storage conditions, full description of laboratory methods, and reporting of performance characteristics.
