- Abstract
The article discusses a study on perceptions and opinions of pharmacists and other stakeholders about the appropriate and safe use of dietary supplements in the U.S. The study employed a grounded theory approach to examine the use of DS such as vitamin, mineral, nutritional and herbal supplements. It revealed that patients were concerned about the regulatory standards, efficacy and safety of supplements.
