- Abstract
The article presents a study on impact of use of antimicrobials for hypoglycemia in older users of glipizide. It informs that population-based cohort study was carried out using data from the Texas Medicare beneficiaries databases. The study found that in older patients receiving glipizide or glyburide, use of antimicrobials increased risk for hypoglycemia-related hospitalization.
