- Abstract
The article discusses a case report of a 60-year-old male patient who had dilated left and right ventricles, moderate mitral regurgitation and a competent aortic valve. Examinations revealed a left ventricle ejection fraction of 14%, and urgent veno-arterial (VA) extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) with percutaneous cannulation was arranged, and the fever was resolved by blood purification. The patient eventually underwent left ventricular assist device implantation.
