- Abstract
The article explains the role of Medicare in medical malpractice reform. Since malpractice reform is about resolving problems with medical care, it is logical to base such reform with medical care itself. Medicare-based malpractice system can help beneficiaries to receive safer medical care and experience response if avoidable injuries occur. Medicare's administrative appeals process serves as an effective medical court.
