- Abstract
The article presents the discovery of methanol extracts in Taxus canadensis in Japan. The plant is also known as Canadian Yew, which is traditional used by Indians in giving relief to pain. In the research, it was found that new taxanes are within the extracts of the plant which is potent for therapeutic use. Taxane is widely known for its effects in treating cancer by inhibiting the metastasis of the cell.
