- Abstract
Presents an interview with Daniel Woodrell, American writer of fictional crime stories. Famous for his books "Winter's Bone" and "Ride With the Devil," Woodrell is known for representing in his works the landscape of the Ozarks region in Missouri. Woodrell talks about the time working with American filmmaker Debra Granik for the film adaptation of "Winter's Bone." He also explores the different personalities of the characters in his stories and shares his views on how the texture of the prose style in his book be transferred to film.
