- Authors

- Abstract
The article examines the diagnostic method for patients with suspected renal calculi presented to the emergency department in a district general hospital to determine the utilization and role of a plain radiography of the renal tract (XR KUB) and a non-contrast computed tomography scan of the urinary tract (CT KUB). It discusses the characteristics of acute renal colic and presents a comparison of performance of XR KUB and CT KUB in terms of sensitivity.
