- Abstract
The article examines the Thorndike Dimensions of Temparament (TDOT). TDOT is a self-report inventory in which an individual describes himself with respect to 10 putative dimensions of temperament. To arrive at the hypothesized groupings, the authors sorted each of the 200 items of the TDOT into 14 categories. The correlations among the 40 cluster scores were analyzed by the method of principal components. The college Ss. that define TDOT recast into a factor analysis of each factor indicated single stimulus the items follow the presence of format was administered ed by an analysis of item 14 dimensions.
