- Title
Subtyping, phenotyping or endotyping rosacea: how can we improve disease understanding and patient care?
- Authors
Thyssen, J. P.
- Abstract
An editorial is presented which discusses relevant challenges that may hinder the successful transition to the phenotype-based approach that was proposed in 2017 by the National Rosacea Society and global ROSacea COnsensus expert panel (ROSCO). It mentions that patients with rosacea have a personal or family history, with comorbidities that have been associated with rosacea such as migraine, Parkinson disease and gastrointestinal disorders.
