- Abstract
This paper aims to identify the perception of preschool teachers regarding the devaluation of their profession, in their family, society and the State, as a sign of emotional precariousness. Based on a qualitative methodology, 20 private preschool teachers were interviewed from the society of Querétaro, Mexico. Conclusions: the devaluation that teachers perceive regarding their work in State institutions, in the family, and in society, considering that this type of work derives from their status as women and that it constitutes an extension of the domestic one, generates emotional suffering and naturalization of certain roles, and invisibility.
