- Abstract
The article discusses public sector laws in the U.S. as of March 2012, focusing on issues relating to employee compensation, employment security, and state-wide efforts to curtail collective bargaining rights in states such as Ohio and Wisconsin. The impact of public employee compensation packages on state budgets, including the costs associated with employee health benefits and pensions, is also addressed.
