- Abstract
The article focuses on a model for prediction of FLT3-ITD and NPM1 positivity in patients diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia. It states that increasing number of molecular markers with prognostic significance in cytogenetically normal AML have been identified. It further talks about NPM1 and FLT3-ITD are often used to guide decisions about therapy in first complete remission.
