- Abstract
The article presents a study which examines the safety and efficacy of hepatectomy on patients undergoing total hepatic vascular exclusion (THVE) for tumours on the hepatic veins. It reveals the collection of the demographic data, surgical procedure, and outcome of all patients who are undergo liver excision under THVE. It reveals that 77 patients has malignant tumor and 10 has benign disease while postoperative complication and mortality rate are 53% and 2% respectively.
