- Abstract
The article presents an case study of 58-year-old man with liver cirrhosis and hepatitis B virus presented with pain, swelling, and localized erythema affecting both legs as well as a fever. He reported vomiting blood and an episode of bloody diarrhea over the preceding 24 hours and history of autoimmune disease. It also mentions Vibrio vulnificus is a gram-negative bacillus and a rare cause of primary septicemia following consumption of shellfish.
