- Abstract
The article examines the relationship between low maternal serum pregnancy-associated plasma protein-A (PAPP-A) and uterine artery pulsatility index (UtA-PI). Pregnant women underwent serum screening during their first trimester to determine the maternal factors that contribute to the prediction of pre-eclampsia (PE). It concludes that low PAPP-A is a significant factor in the development of PE.
