- Abstract
The article discusses the role of radical prostatectomy (RP) for high-risk localized prostate cancer and define the parameters and urgent need for a prospective trial to test the role of surgery for this group of patient. Outcomes of radiotherapy (RT) for high-risk prostate cancer are mentioned. It is found that men with high-risk localized prostate cancers are at the highest risk of disease relapse regardless of the primary therapy.
