- Abstract
A 79-year-old man with chronic kidney disease was referred to our hospital for the workup of anemia that progressed in 1 month (hemoglobin level, from 10.1 to 4.9 g/dL).Unenhanced computed tomography (CT) revealed dilation of the main pancreatic duct (MPD) and atrophic pancreatic parenchyma lesion was identified. (c) Contrast-enhanced computed tomography showing a relatively hypervascular mass (arrow) including a noncontrast lesion in the pancreatic tail 1 day after endoscopic retrograde pancreatography. gl Microscopically, the MPD was filled with tumour cells with high-grade dysplasia, showing complex intraductal papillo-tubular growth with hemorrhage around the tumour (b,c).
