- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 26-year-old woman with an 18-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission/computed tomography scan revealed an increased uptake in the left pleural lesion, mediastinal lymph nodes, and hilar lymph nodes. Ultrasonography-guided transthoracic needle biopsy of the left pleural lesions revealed epithelioid cell granuloma. Acidfast staining of the specimen and PCR for tuberculosis were both positive.
