The Case of Unilateral Persiste Pupillary Membran in Cat.

- Abstract
Pupil with the anterior surface of the iris during the development of the fetal membrane is completely covered, even though it is a simple solid mesodermal tissue. Mesodermal tissue and vascular structures of the mesenchymal tissue remains fully available on the iris as a result of being resorbed called persistent pupillary membrane. This study; persistent pupillary membrane diagnosed eight months, male, mixed breed cat. Inspection in the left eye, the iris of the originating thread-like, pink-white structure was detected. Direct ophthalmoscopy in the opposite ventral lens 'Y' shaped structure which is attached onto the iris, the junction continue towards the dorsal and some on the lens continues as a single structure, again in case two parts when the iris line in the ventral part was seen stuck on the iris. Side lighting while maintenance was determined in part of the lens or cornea which resembles the yarn adhesion is free from any point and in humor aquosus slightly taut. As a result, the pathology of the patient was assessed as permanent pupillary membrane.
