- Abstract
The article focuses on the case of a 57-year-old woman who shows positive fecal occult blood test result. It says that the woman shows normal levels of tumor markers; however colonoscopy and histopathologic tests revealed a pedunculated polyp at the sigmoid colon and dilated blood vessels in submucosa, respectively. Moreover, the patient was diagnosed with colonic arteriovenous malformation (AVM).
