- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 47-year-old male patient with good general health, who was presented to the hospital with episodic epigastric pain experienced since August 2009. His medical screening involving ultrasound, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, and computed tomography revealed obstructive jaundice and biliary obstruction with a dilated common bile duct and pancreatic duct. The patient was treated with high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU).
