- Abstract
The article focuses on the use of magnetic resonance imaging-compatible neonatal incubator (MRIcNI) in medical practice. It provides a background of imaging of preterm infants, indicators for neonatal MRI and the safety and quality issues with MRI in the neonate. It describes the MRIcNI acquired by the University of Queensland in conjunction with the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and the Royal Children's Hospital. It relates the experience of clinicians in using the MRIcNI.
