- Abstract
This document is a correction notice for an article titled "Surveys that prioritize site number over time per site will result in better gastropod status assessments: a case study on the rediscovery of Big Black Rocksnail" published in the journal Biodiversity & Conservation. The correction addresses an error in the affiliation details of authors Paul D. Hartfield, Ashley S. Ruppel, and Matthew D. Wagner, which were incorrectly listed as 'Mississippi Ecological Services Field Office, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Warm Springs, GA, USA' instead of 'Mississippi Ecological Services Field Office, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Jackson, MS, USA'. The correction has been made to the original article. The publisher, Springer Nature, maintains neutrality regarding jurisdictional claims and institutional affiliations.
