- Abstract
The article looks at the government of Luxembourg in 2004. A chart on the campaigns of Luxembourg's major political parties is presented, including the Christian Social People's Party (CSV), the Democratic Party, and the Free Party of Luxembourg. National issues of interest in 2004 are reviewed, including the retardation of economic growth, the relation of Luxembourg's geographic position to its unemployment rates, and the privatization of railway stations. The results of the 2004 Luxembourg National elections are also presented, noting the cabinet officers for Prime Minister Jean-Claude Juncker such as Minister of Justice Luc Frieden and Minister of Environment Lucien Lux.
