- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 51-year old African American woman who had mycotic aneurysm of the infrarenal aorta after drainage of a pancreatic pseudocyst. She was admitted to a hospital after complaining recurrent epigastric pain, nausea and vomiting and had history of diabetes, mellitus, hypertension and Clostridium difficile colitis. She was required to undergo drainage of the pseudocyst after her symptoms did not improve despite taking antibiotics. She had a right axillobifemoral bypass and resection for the aortic mycotic aneurysm.
