- Abstract
Highlights from the article: Cover Feature: The Renewable and Sustainable Conversion of Chitin into a Chiral Nitrogen-Doped Carbon-Sheath Nanofiber for Enantioselective Adsorption (ChemSusChem 14/2019) B The Cover Feature b shows a sacrificial-template-free and environmentally mild method for the production of N-doped chiral nematic carbon nanofibril hydrogel from renewable chitin biomass. This material has enantioselective properties, selectively adsorbs d-lactic acid over l-lactic acid, and enriches a racemic solution to one with 16.3 % enantiomeric excess.
