- Abstract
The article discusses the localized skin rashes. It mentions factors causing skin rashes including age of the patient, hiking or camping in the countryside which increase the risk of insect bites, and herpes simplex or fixed drug eruption. It also discusses the symptoms and appearance of localized rash with vesicles or blisters due to herpes zoster virus in which rash is limited to the area supplied by a sensory nerve of the skin, lichen simplex, and herpes simplex.
