- Abstract
The article studies the functional analysis of peroxiredoxin isoforms in Euglena gracilis. Topics discussed include study of metabolism of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in Euglena, isolation of four full length complementary deoxyribonucleic acids (cDNAs) of four Euglena peroxiredoxins (EgPrxs) and similarity observed between catalytic efficiencies of recombinant EgPrxs and plant thiol-peroxidases.
