- Authors
Yin, L. Roger; Lien, Nancy
- Abstract
The article recommends the use of Organizational and End- User Information Systems (OEIS) Model Curriculum. Information technology educators must examine and improve the OEIS curriculum through validating and sustaining our own disciplinary practice, scholarship, and discourse. To do this, there are various means. First, help students put learned skills in context as soon as possible. Second, foster continuing professional development among faculty. Third, design OEIS curricula with both formative and summative assessments. Fourth, build an OEIS community of practice through action research.
