The author reflects on her book "Senses of the Subject" which addresses the question of subject-formation through various routes. She discusses means by which a subject is formed and its implications for what a subject can do. She explains how animating conditions for action influences a subject. She also discusses an argument that subject-formation requires the animation of the senses.
