Reports on an evaluation of the frictional energy loss during transverse point loading and unloading of already damaged specimens. Fabrication of glass fiber reinforced polymer plates using a hand lay-up technique; Creation of resin-rich zones in the intra-laminar, inter-fiber-bundle regions, in addition to the interlaminar resin-rich regions due to the gap between the fiber bundles.
