- Abstract
The article discusses the line "unhouseled, disappointed, unaneled" in the play "Hamlet" by William Shakespeare. The etymologies of the words are examined along with interpretations of the line's meaning, which the author suggests is related to sacramental rites. Evidence for the date of the first performance of "Hamlet" is also touched on.
