ADOPTION OF THE JSE DIGITAL TEST AND TRAINING RANGES.
- Authors

- Abstract
The U.S. Air Force has successfully used a Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) to test the capabilities of the F-35 fighter jet. The JSE allows for realistic tactical operations in threat environments that cannot be replicated at existing open-air ranges. This has led to the deployment of Digital Test and Training Ranges (DTTR) across the nation, which provide the necessary infrastructure for military test and training operations. The DTTRs offer significant value by addressing the limitations of traditional open-air ranges and improving the realism and effectiveness of weapon system development and tactical training.
