- Abstract
This article focuses on the allergic contact eczema from sodium amidotrizoate, which is a radiopaque substance in angiography and renography. A 32 year old nurse acquired eczema of the hands after six month period of work in an x-ray unit for angiography. She used Visotrast every day filling syringes without wearing gloves. In another case a female medical technician, aged 26 years, with no previous history developed eczema of the hands after ten months' use of Visotrast. She improved during holidays and had no relapse after changing her job.
