- Abstract
The article examines the comparison of three common strategies to increase participation in worksite health promotion programs. The interventions, designed for recruiting low income employees included three methods--written information, written information and an information session, and written information, an information session and a group contest. A study was conducted with 8 teams of housekeepers at the study university. A table of random numbers was used to randomly allocate teams to receive one of the three methods mentioned above.
