- Abstract
The authors offer a response to comments made by N. Verougstraete on their study "HbA1c Determination from HemaSpot Blood Collection Devices: Comparison of Home-Prepared Dried Blood Spots With Standard Venous Blood Analysis." Topics include concern expressed that they had not considered their results from a clinical perspective, the Royal College of Pathologists of Australia (RCPA) requirements for HBA1c, and factor that makes use of the HemaSpot device for remote sample collection acceptable.
