- Abstract
This article offers news briefs on various issues which includes the National Center for Urban and Industrial Health, Institute of Life Science, and a new division of biology at Kansas State University. The National Center for Urban and Industrial Health is a division of the Public Health Service tasked with eliminating health hazards associated with urban living and has established a headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio. Texas A&M University will establish an Institute of Life Science which will be housed in a $2.75 million building and headed by Johannes van Overbeek.
