- Abstract
The article presents the case of an air rifle pellet's spontaneous migration from the brain of a 19-year-old man to his thoracic spine while he was comatose and had no neurological activity. The article notes the pellet migrated through the brain's ventricular drainage system and cerebrospinal fluid to the midthoracic intraspinal canal. It also notes computed tomography (CT) imaging showed hemorrhage in the brain. Topics include bullet embolization and brain death.
