- Abstract
An editorial is presented which addresses the author's views about the positive and negative impacts of social media on public health in America as of 2019, and it mentions the social aspects of health promotion, anorexic behavior risks, and an opioid epidemic. Technology in public health surveillance is assessed, along with public health researchers, illegal drug-related posts on the Instagram social network, and an illegal material-based law in Germany.
