- Abstract
The article presents views of the author on guidelines related to sedation of patients with severe acute behavioural disturbance and its relevance for psychosis diagnosis for young people that increase risk for adverse drug reactions. Topics discussed include Great Britain National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidelines for its treatment, NICE guidelines being developed for patients in mental health institutions and side-effects resulting from benzodiazepines use.
